Alert prototype for landslide for risk areas using the Arduino platform

Resumo

The landslides are almost always associated with natural disasters, with loss of human lives, great financial loss to government and the need to relocate families to new homes. In Brazil, the situation causes great concern to civil society and government authorities, landslides occur very frequently in the initial months of the year. This type of disaster is mostly influenced by several factors, the main ones being the poor distribution of the urban network, the lack of infrastructure, the waterproofing and deforestation of the soil and finally the tropical climate and the high rainfall during summer. Thus, this work has the objective of developing an alert sensor for landslides for risk areas using an Arduino platform, through the analysis of soil moisture on the slopes.
